Every point brings you closer to the CROWN

With v0.14.0, the standings stop being a number you have to decode. You can see what scores, who is ahead and how many points separate you from the next position. Field notes also introduces the CROWN: a permanent Season ticket for the players who can turn words, consistency, events and puzzles into a complete competitive run.

The four increasingly rare CROWN awards available at the end of a Season.

Know exactly where you stand

• Eight focused boards give words, consistency, events, puzzles and lifetime MASTERY their own clear competition.
• The Season CROWN combines six fixed progress areas into one all-round score. Your points grow only through your own achievements.
• Every board shows its scoring rules, nearby rivals and the exact gap to the next position, so your next move is always visible.
• Past Seasons preserve their original rules and standings.

End the Season with a CROWN

• Reach 100 CROWN points to enter the final standings. From there, both score and placement decide the award.
• CREST begins at 250 points, DIADEM at 450, REGALIA at 700 and SOVEREIGN at 900. The standings show your projected tier and its live placement cutoff.
• SOVEREIGN belongs to first place and may remain unclaimed. Genuine ties share the same rank and are never split at an award boundary.
• You can earn one CROWN per Season. Its tier, score, final rank and Season are frozen forever in a collectible made to stand out in your gallery, albums and showcase.

The rarest CROWN has a unique composition and a dedicated award reveal.

Events bring words and games together

• Community events can now combine distinct words and qualified minigame families in one contribution score.
• Each distinct event word is worth 1 point. Your first qualified completion from each game family that day adds its visible 1 to 3 game points.
• Replays, practice runs and extra modes from the same family do not inflate the score. Multiplayer is never required.

Field notes begins here

Field notes will be the first Season to use the new standings, mixed EVENT scoring and CROWN awards. Build your score throughout the Season, follow every rival from the stats page and see whether your final run deserves a CREST, a DIADEM, a REGALIA or the SOVEREIGN.
