      Game guide

Learn the game in the order a new player actually needs it: what to do first, why tickets matter, and where the deeper systems fit once you start collecting.

      1. Play
      Submit real words

Every submit spends stamina, can mint or grow tickets, and moves missions, XP, INK, and LexiPass progress.

      2. Read
      Understand the ticket

The kind tells what happened; the tier tells how far it evolved; the detail page explains why it exists.

      3. Progress
      Build long-term goals

Daily missions, Bounty Hour, events, MASTERY tracks, LATENT unlocks, and LexiPass reward different styles of play.

      4. Show
      Curate your identity

Use cosmetics, showcase, albums, and public profiles to turn the collection into something other players can recognize.

Values shown reflect the currently active season "Alpha genesis".

      The idea

LexiMint is a seasonal word discovery game. Submit words, earn unique tickets, and build your collection. Every season starts fresh: the first player to submit a word becomes its discoverer. As more players use the same word, its rarity tier evolves and your tickets grow with it. Compete in daily missions, hunt for bounties, and unlock lifetime mastery achievements as you explore the language.

      Submit loop

      Submit a word

Type any word (2 to 20 characters) and hit submit. Two-letter words are accepted but flagged until the community adopts them.

Your word is cleaned up automatically: accents are removed, capitals are lowered, and special characters are stripped. For example, CAFE, CAFÈ, and CAFÉ all become the same word after cleanup.

      Try it yourself

Each submission costs 1 stamina. If you're the first player to submit a word this season, you'll discover it and earn a DISCOVERY ticket. Even if you're not first, your submission still counts: it pushes the word toward higher rarity tiers, can trigger MILESTONE and tickets, and progresses your daily missions.

      Seasons

      A fresh lexicon every season

Every word is up for grabs again.

LexiMint runs in seasons. Each season starts with a blank slate: no words have been discovered yet. The first player to submit a given word in a season becomes its discoverer, regardless of what happened in previous seasons.

      Fresh start, lasting legacy

Tickets are forever, levels are seasonal.

When a season ends, word occurrence counts, tier progressions, and your player level all reset. But the tickets you earned stay in your collection forever, permanently stamped with the season they were minted in.

Your total level is always visible on your profile. It shows the sum of every level you have reached across all seasons, so your long-term dedication is always on display. Mastery achievements are also permanent and carry across seasons.

      Word tiers

      Rarity through frequency

The more players submit a word, the higher its tier climbs.

Every word begins at First tier. As more players submit it, it climbs through nine named tiers. Your DISCOVERY ticket evolves alongside the word: being the discoverer of a word that reaches Legendary is one of the rarest achievements in the game.

      First

      First player ever

      Ticket reference

Tickets are proof of your discoveries and achievements. There are seven different kinds, each earned through a unique mechanic. Many tickets evolve over time as conditions change: a DISCOVERY ticket grows rarer as more players use its word, and a DAILY ticket upgrades as you complete more missions.

      Bounty Hour

      Daily competitive event

Race to guess the secret word before everyone else.

Every day, a bounty hour runs once per geographic region (Americas, EMEA, APAC). The start time changes daily within the evening window (18:30 to 22:00 local time). During the 60 minutes, a secret word is hidden and 3 progressive clues are released: first a tier clue, then its length, then its initial letter.

The secret word can come from the current season or from a previous season. If the current season has not pushed that word to Ghost or higher yet, the first clue names the past season used as reference.

The pool only uses eligible words: at least 5 letters, not flagged as gibberish, not redacted, and already between GHOST and UBIQUITOUS. If there are fewer than 30 eligible words, Bounty Hour stays in warm-up instead of creating an empty hunt.

Submit your guess through the normal submit box. If your word matches the secret, you win a spot! Only the first 10 players per region can win each day.

      Stamina

      Your daily energy

Every submission costs 1 stamina point. Pace yourself.

Stamina prevents spam and rewards consistent play. You start with a pool of stamina that regenerates over time. As you level up, your regeneration rate improves gradually, reaching its maximum at the highest levels.

      LexiPass and purchases

The LexiPass: a seasonal reward path

Play normally, level the pass, and choose later if the premium track is worth it for your collection.

The LexiPass runs alongside the season. Submitting words, finishing missions, and unlocking mastery all move it forward. Every player has the free track. The premium track adds more cosmetic and collection rewards without changing leaderboard power.

Unlocking premium is retroactive: if you buy it after reaching several levels, the premium rewards for those levels are granted immediately. Your free rewards stay yours either way.

      Levels
      50

Free rewards for everyone, premium rewards if unlocked

      Cosmetics

      Make every ticket yours

Borders, particles, shaders, recolors, and stamps live as cosmetics you collect over time.

Cosmetics let you decorate the tickets you mint. Each cosmetic belongs to one of five families: borders (the outline that frames the ticket), particles (small effects floating in the background), shaders (full-ticket visual filters like glow or shadow), recolors (palette swaps that repaint background and accent), and stamps (small glyphs placed in one of the four ticket corners).

You earn cosmetics through the LexiPass free and premium tracks, receive them as event or bounty rewards, or buy them in the shop with INK or FOIL. The shop sorts every item by tier so you can read its rarity at a glance: Common, Rare, Epic, and Mythic.

One instance, one ticket at a time

      Showcase, albums, and lexicon

      Showcase: your public window

Pin up to 3 tickets on your public profile. Anyone with the link sees them instantly.

Every player gets a public profile at /u/your-username with a showcase of pinned tickets. Drag them into any order, add a short bio, and share the link. The free showcase holds 3 slots; you can expand up to 6 with INK (10k, 25k, 50k per extra slot) or unlock 9 slots with the premium showcase upgrade. The showcase is always visible to anyone, no account required.

You can also embed the showcase as an iframe on any platform that supports it (Discord bio pages, Notion pages, personal sites). The embed link is on your profile page.

Albums: curated binders for your collection

Organize tickets into page-based binders and share the ones you want public.

Albums let you group tickets into named binder pages. Your first album is free and starts with 1 page of . Additional albums cost 30,000 INK or 100 FOIL, and each album starts from the same 1-page base.

      Rules and moderation

      Keeping the lexicon clean

We step in when content crosses a line.

Words that are illegal, hateful, or harmful can be redacted by the LexiMint team. When a word is redacted, all tickets associated with it are voided and hidden from the gallery. If you submitted the word in good faith, you won't be penalized, but the tickets cannot be recovered.

Automated quality filters and rate limits run on every submission to prevent spam and catch bad actors before they impact the game.

      Flagged word detection

Not every keystroke should enter the game loop.

Submissions that appear to be random keystrokes or unpronounceable strings are accepted but flagged. While a word is flagged, it does not mint word-bound tickets, does not award INK or FOIL, does not advance missions that require valid words, and stays hidden from the global gallery and public lexicon.

If enough players independently submit the same flagged word, the system recognizes it as a legitimate term and removes the flag automatically. From that point on, future eligible submits can mint and evolve tickets like any other word.

      FAQ

      What should I do first?

Sign in, verify your email, submit one real word, then check your daily missions. You can learn the deeper systems after you have seen your first ticket.

Why did I not get a DISCOVERY ticket?

A DISCOVERY ticket only goes to the first player who submits a word in the current season. If the word was already found, your submit can still help tiers, missions, milestone ticket chances, and echo ticket chances.

What is the difference between kind and tier?

Kind explains what happened: for example or . Tier explains how far it went: for example for a word or for a daily.

      DISCOVERY
      Most prestigious

      You found it first.

Earned when you are the very first player to submit a word this season. Your DISCOVERY ticket starts as Unverified and evolves as the word gains popularity, climbing through tiers all the way up to Legendary.

Once enough players have submitted and verified a word, your DISCOVERY ticket evolves to its current tier. It can never drop back to a lower tier, but it will evolve as the word gains popularity, securing your pioneer status forever.

The submit form can also show a compact community lane for Unverified DISCOVERY words suggested by other players. Tap one to load it into the submit input, then submit it normally if you recognize the word. Your contribution helps the word graduate and advances VERIFIERtrack.

      MILESTONE

Your submission hit an exact global threshold.

Earned when your submission is the one that pushes a word to a milestone number of total uses across all players this season. These are rare and unpredictable: you never know when your word will be the one that crosses the line.

      #10#50#100#500#1,000#2,500#3,500#5,000#7,500

      ECHO

You brought a word back from silence.

Earned when you submit a word that nobody has used for a long time. The longer the silence before your revival, the rarer the ECHO:

      24 hours3 days7 days14 days30 days

If enough players quickly adopt the word you revived, your ECHO can evolve into its resonant: a rarer variant that proves you restarted a trend. You count as the first adopter; the remaining adoption slots must come from other players.

      24 hours resonant3 days resonant7 days resonant14 days resonant30 days resonant

When an ECHO fires, a limited pool of 2 clone tickets. Other players who submit the same word shortly after can claim a clone of your ECHO ticket.

      EVENT

Seasonal community challenges with exclusive rewards.

Earned during special limited-time events that run alongside the season. Participate by submitting words during the event window; the stage must be completed by the community before it awards or evolves your EVENT ticket:

      BronzeSilverGoldPlatinumDiamond

At the end of a fully completed event, the most active participants are promoted to Diamond. How many depends on the event: each one sets a small share of the pool (often 5%), and there is always at least one winner so even tiny events crown their top contributor. If your first completed contribution is stage 2, 3, or 4, you still start at Bronze; your EVENT tier is based on how many completed stages you helped finish, not on the stage number you joined. Your contribution depends on the event rule; if two players are tied, the one who joined first wins. If an event closes before stage 4, unfinished stages do not award EVENT tiers and no Platinum or Diamond tickets are awarded for that event.

      Event types

Each event sets its own counting rule, so some events reward volume while others reward variety, rarity, or specific word properties.

      • Community submissions · Every submit counts toward the event, repetitions included.
      • Unique words discovered · A submit counts only if the word has never been submitted by anyone during this season.
      • Distinct words per player · A submit counts the first time you submit that word during this specific event. Repeats do not add, even across days.
      • Themed distinct words · Like distinct words per player, but the word must also match the event theme (for example a lipogram or a length range).
      • Themed submissions · Every submit that matches the event theme counts, repetitions included.
      • Player firsts · A submit counts only if this is the first time you submit that word during this season, even if other players have submitted it before.

      DAILY

Complete daily missions to evolve your DAILY ticket.

Every day at midnight UTC, you receive 3 missions (1 easy, 1 normal, 1 hard). Complete them to evolve your DAILY ticket through metallic tiers:

      Bronze

      1st mission completed

      Silver

      2nd mission completed

      Gold

      3rd mission completed

      Platinum

Win the bounty hour (can skip tiers)

Missions that describe a property of the word (length, contained letter, vowels, tier, who discovered it) advance only when you submit distinct words in the day: submitting the same word five times counts as one. Missions that count volume (e.g. "submit 30 valid words") and behavioral streaks (unique initials, no flagged words, word chain) keep counting every submission.

      WEEKLY SET

Stay consistent throughout the week (Monday to Sunday).

Your WEEKLY SET ticket tracks how many days you earned any DAILY ticket during the week. More days means a higher tier:

      Bronze

      Gold

      6 days

      Platinum

      MASTERY

      Long-term achievements that reward dedication.

MASTERY tickets are cross-season achievements that persist forever, rewarding lifetime commitment. There are two families:

      Mastery tracks track

26 cumulative progress achievements that evolve through five ranks as you reach lifetime milestones. Examples: total submissions, unique words discovered, active days, legendary discoveries. A few long-arc tracks also carry small FOIL rewards for cosmetic progression.

      Checkout and support

Digital purchases are delivered immediately after payment.

FOIL packs, the LexiPass premium track, and season bundles are delivered to your account as soon as payment completes. Checkout shows a required waiver checkbox before you continue.

If a charge looks wrong, FOIL does not arrive, or a bundle is not delivered, contact support. Every case is reviewed individually.

Owning a cosmetic does not paint your whole collection. Each instance dresses one ticket; you can buy additional instances for additional tickets.

Every cosmetic instance you own is bound to one ticket at a time. If you want to move it to a different ticket, you simply swap it: the instance detaches from the previous ticket and attaches to the new one. Nothing is consumed, nothing is lost. You can move each instance back and forth as many times as you like, forever.

If you want to dress more tickets at the same time without swapping, you can buy additional instances of the same cosmetic from the shop, each at the full price. There is no bulk discount: buying a second instance mints a new owned copy that lives next to the first in your inventory and can be applied to a different ticket.

The single-application rule is intentional. LexiMint tickets are unique artefacts (one word per season per minter), and treating each cosmetic instance the same way keeps the relationship between a ticket and its decoration intentional instead of generic.

Quick read: each cosmetic instance is bound to one ticket at a time, freely swappable between your tickets, and never consumed or destroyed. Buy additional instances if you want to decorate more tickets simultaneously. If a ticket is removed for any reason, any instance that was on it returns to your inventory.

      Apply, swap, remove

Two surfaces handle every cosmetic action.

The inventory lists every cosmetic you own, with a label that tells you which ticket it is currently on (or in inventory if it is detached). From here you can preview a cosmetic and remove it from a ticket in one click.

The ticket detail page has an Apply cosmetic button on tickets you own. Opening it shows your inventory in a grid: pick a cosmetic, confirm the swap if it was already on a different ticket, and the new look appears immediately. The previous ticket goes back to its base style, ready to receive another cosmetic when you want.

Stamp cosmetics add one extra choice before applying: top right, top left, bottom right, or bottom left. The modal shows preview thumbnails on the actual ticket before the placement is saved.

Some combinations are blocked on purpose: at most one animation treatment per ticket, at most one fill or font style, and a small list of pairs that conflict visually (an effect that fights motion sickness, two background washes that cancel each other, and so on). The interface explains the conflict and offers to remove the blocking cosmetic if you want to apply the new one.

      Where to find cosmetics

The cosmetics shop opens directly from the navbar.

The shop leads with a weekly hero rotation, a featured strip with optional discounts capped at 30%, and curated shop kits managed by the content engine. Below those, the full grid lets you filter by tier, type, affordability, or wishlist, and sort by price. INK-priced items are bought with the INK you earn from gameplay; FOIL and co-pay items use the premium currency rail.

Tap the bookmark on any card to save it for later. Saved cosmetics live in the Wishlisted filter, and the navbar INK pill keeps your balance visible on every screen so you always know what you can afford right now.

Every purchase is final and the new instance enters your inventory immediately, ready to apply to any of your tickets. If you already own a cosmetic, buying it again mints a new instance at the full price so you can decorate an additional ticket; there is no bulk discount. The inventory groups your instances per cosmetic, so a stack of three Aurora drifts appears as one card with a per-instance sub-list showing which ticket each instance is currently on.

      9 slot

Each album can grow one page at a time up to 8 pages. Every new page adds 9 slot. Add and remove tickets whenever you want, drag them into order, set the album visibility, and feature selected albums on your public profile.

      Your personal lexicon

Every word you have ever submitted, across all seasons, in one place.

The personal Lexicon is a lifetime archive of every word you have submitted, organized by season and sortable by recency, rarity, or frequency. Unlike the seasonal game, the Lexicon never resets: words you discovered three seasons ago stay in your record forever.

The ANTHOLOGIST mastery track uses your lexicon depth as its score axis, so building a large, varied personal lexicon directly advances your mastery progress.

The filter is intentionally lenient: abbreviations, slang, and internet culture words are not flagged. Only truly random character sequences are caught.

      Achievement privacy

      Hidden mastery stays a surprise.

The gallery is split into three views: Tickets, Lexicon, and Mastery. Mastery achievements are lifetime, cross-season, and live in their own section so the regular feed stays focused on the current season.

The Lexicon lists the words the community has verified in the active season. Only words at Ghost tier or higher appear there, so freshly minted and unverified words are not shown yet. The tier of a word reflects how widely it is used: the higher the tier, the more common the word is across the community.

When you unlock a hidden mastery achievement, the ticket appears instantly in your personal collection but is held back from the public feed for a few minutes. This breaks the chronological link between the triggering word and the achievement, so other players cannot reverse-engineer how to unlock it.
