Join forces, share the arena or try to be the last snake standing. Four new Word Snake modes join Race, with private rooms for friends and many more words to discover on your next run.
Separate boards or one shared arena: choose how to play together.
Four new ways to play with friends
- Co-op: everyone has their own board and assignments that contribute to a shared goal. Finish yours, then help with the ones still open.
- Last snake standing: start with three lives and two minutes, gain time by completing words and survive longer than your opponents. The host can enable counterable attacks, off by default: completing a word cancels an incoming hit or sends one. Each hit takes three seconds, with five seconds of warning.
- Team arena: share one board and collect the missing letters of a common word in any order. Each mistake costs the team three seconds.
- Arena: share the board but complete your own words. You have two minutes to advance further than your opponents; after a collision, you return to the game.
Separate-board modes support 2–30 players; the two shared arenas support 2–6. Invite friends by link or room code, even without an account. Play one round or a three-round series, and watch the remaining players after you finish. Word Snake multiplayer does not award XP, INK or tickets.
More room for the game
- Expand the Word Snake play area to make better use of the screen, on desktop and phone.
- Check everyone's snake in the lobby before starting. On phones, a compact live summary keeps your progress and other players' progress close to the board.
- In shared arenas, the countdown marks where your snake will return. Brief protection from other snakes helps you get moving again.
More words, fewer repeats
- Word Snake now draws from 510 English words and 671 Italian words.
- New runs take recent starts in the same language into account to reduce repetition, including room rounds and rematches. Saved games keep their original words and progress.
Find your next game
Browse Puzzles, Arcade and Party games, search by name, or filter by On your own and With friends. Each game stays in one place, with direct actions for solo play or creating a room. Room-code entry is visible on both the games page and room creation page.
Before creating a room, compare each mode's goal, player count and board layout. Parallel race is now simply called Race; its rules stay the same.
